Meesho profit can change quickly after returns, recoveries, claims, ads, and payment rows are added. Sales alone do not show the real picture.

Returns change both stock and profit

A return can restore sellable stock, create damaged stock, or become a loss if the item is not received. Profit tracking should separate these states instead of treating every return the same.

Payment reports complete the picture

Order value, deductions, recoveries, compensation, ad cost, and final settlement need to be matched against the listing and product cost. This helps the seller see actual contribution by SKU or style ID.

Use COGS for every order

If a Meesho listing is not mapped to the product cost, monthly profit becomes overstated. Internal SKU or style ID mapping keeps COGS visible even when marketplace SKU is missing.
